View from West Spanish Peak of Goemmer Butte and Profile Dike. Sample SP67 came from the dike just to the right (east) of Goemmer Butte. It is radial to both West Spanish Peak and Silver Mountain. It has compositional affinities closer to the Silver Mountain intrusive complex than West Spanish Peak. The only other significant plug in the Spanish Peaks area is Gardner Butte (located a few miles SE of Gardner on CO 69 about 35 km NNW of Goemmer Butte)
